Authentic Historical Swordsmanship

We provide instruction in 500-year-old swordplay and close-quarter combat. Born on the battlefield, this is a martial art developed from actual experiences in battle, during a time when survival depended on skill, strength & quickness of mind.

Not just swords - it's a system

Our instruction is based on 16th-Century Italian sources.  In addition to one-handed and two-handed swords, we teach a variety of spears, daggers and other weaponry.  We also offer training in empty-handed combat: grappling and self-defense. Our practice focuses on safety, control and competence, and applying what we practice in real life situations.
